Praise Fellowship Church

The year 2020 begins a new decade as well as a new year. In this season our focus is from Colossians 3:1-4, setting our sights on the realities of heaven and setting our minds on things above, not things on the earth. This not only prepares us for the future and the heavenly reality of dwelling with the Lord for eternity, but also equips us with the proper perspective for our life here on earth in these last days before Jesus returns.

Kiplin Batchelor of Christ for the Nations Institute (CFNI) spoke regarding how, just as our technological devices need upgrades in order to do things that they did not do before, we also receive upgrades from God to renew our perspective and prepare us to do the things God has for us to do. Saul/Paul, on the road to Damascus received an upgrade from the Lord regarding Jesus and the church.

The narrative of this message is the responses of people to the announcement and then the actual coming of the King of Israel, the Messiah, Jesus.  Comparisons are made regarding the announcing and the reality of his coming again.
